Rumble at the Red, a great success for Kevin Reynolds!
Vancouver Sun:In the semi-main, Vancouver's Kevin Reynolds, the No. 1 Canadian cruiserweight contender, was bloodied in the first round by Nick Ring of Calgary but eventually pounded out a unanimous decision in an eight-round slugfest to improve to 10-1. He's hoping to meet champion Frank White in the new year.
Kevin looked better in the 8th round then he did in the first. Getting cut early in the first round seemed to put him on hold. As the cut closed, Kevin opened up. Getting more comfortable and landing punch after punch. In the end the cut had completely stopped bleeding, and Kevin won a unanimous decision.
