Do I need to be fit in order to start boxing?

No. You do not need to be fit in order to start boxing. All you need to start boxing is a commitment to come to the gym regularly. Your fitness will improve along the way. (Click here for testimonials.)
 

 

I am new to boxing and not ready to spar yet. Do I have to spar in your beginner level classes?

We do not have sparring in our beginner or intermediate level classes. Sparring is held only between the members who wish to participate in our sparring sessions (Monday night, Wednesday night and Saturday afternoon) and have gotten medical clearance.
 


I have done boxing before. Can I start with Hand Pads Class?

We recommend that you take a few Boxing Fundamentals or Beginner Boxing classes before you start taking our advance level classes such as Hand Pads Class. Each boxing gym has its own class structure and language to use in their classes, and we would like you to be familiar with ours so your training partner won't be affected. Thank you for understanding!
 

 

Can I come in when the class is not going on and hit the bags?

No. We hold private/corporate classes and personal training sessions in our gym when we do not have our regular classes. If you would like to work out on your own, please take an advantage of our Open Gym Hours.  (Click here to take a look at our schedule.)
 

Do I get to work on my legs in your boxing classes?

Yes. Boxing is not just about your upper body strength. Our classes are meant to give you a whole body workout, and helping our members who run, bike, play soccer or hockey improve their performance. If you are not too sure, take an advantage of our 2-Week Trial and check out our classes!
